Dear Patients,
This week, I would like to share with you an issue that is close to my heart: the use of cigarettes among young people and child labour in the tobacco industry. While this issue is not present in Europe, there are countries where legislation does not protect children from the dangers of tobacco. Indonesia, a tobacco-producing country, does not prohibit child labour in the fields. Large European companies, such as British American Tobacco, sometimes play a role in this, and the company is also active in Switzerland.
