Dear Patient

In this early spring, cycling, horse-riding, scooter-riding and motorcycle-riding are great activities, especially in this beautiful region of France. They’re a great way to spend time with family and friends. They can also be enjoyed solo.

Be careful, and don’t forget good practice: protect your body and wear, as a minimum, an approved helmet, adapted to the circumference of your head. For motorcyclists, full-face helmets are preferable, as they also protect the face.

Head injuries can have serious consequences for the autonomy of their victims, even those that do not result in loss of consciousness. Similarly, the spine needs to be properly protected (bikers, riders), as falls can result in nasty fractures. So don’t hesitate to wear, at the very least, a back brace.
